THE ISLAND OF CRETE

This is the largest Greek island, located in the Mediterranean Sea. It has an azure sea, extraordinary landscapes and beaches stretching for more than a thousand kilometres.

METEORA

This place will undoubtedly be in your memory. It is a massif of sandstone and conglomerate rocks located in central Greece. An amazing fact is that a complex of Orthodox churches was built on top of the massif.

ISLAND OF RHODES

This is a breathtaking island situated on two seas – the Mediterranean and the Aegean. On one side of the island you will find sandy beaches and calm sea, while on the other side you will find rocky beaches, ancient city ruins and more vegetation. Moreover, it is estimated that the sun shines here for about 300 days a year.

THE ACROPOLIS

The showpiece of Athens, one of Greece’s most popular attractions. This place once served as a settlement, city or part of it located on a high hill, a citadel with palaces and temples.

THE ENIPEASA GORGE, ZEUS FALLS AND APHRODITE’S BATHS

These extremely fabulous places are located in the village of Litochoro near the massif of Mount Olympus. At the end of the gorge, among the mountains and roaring water, you can reach the Zeus Waterfalls, where the Baths of Aphrodite are carved – the goddess took baths there.

THE CASTLE OF PLATAMONAS

On the coast of the Aegean Sea, near Mount Olympus, there is Platamonas Castle. You can not freely visit the entire castle, but it is possible to climb some
parts of the fortress wall and enjoy the beautiful panorama from there. 

THE ISLAND OF SANTORINI

This is one of the most popular islands of Greece – called the diamond of the Aegean Sea. It is so famous for its memorable landscapes and beautiful, distinctive buildings in white and blue.

DELPHI

This city, which has ancient ruins, is located in the mountains. After the Acropolis, Delphi is the most popular archaeological site in Greece. It includes the Theatre of Delphi and the Temple of Apollo.

NAVAJO

A beach located on the north-western tip of Zakynthos Island. It is surrounded by limestone cliffs and the water there is crystal clear. In addition, on the beach we can admire the wreck of the Panajotis ship.

MOUNT OLYMPUS

This is not a single peak but a large mountain massif. It is located in the area of national park established in 1938. From the mountains you can observe coniferous forests, deciduous forests, typical Mediterranean vegetation (poppies), and in the higher parts – meadows. On the highest peak – Mitikas, also called Pantheon, you can visit the mythical meeting place of 12 Greek gods. To reach the top of Mount Olympus you need to spend 8 hours hiking.

 

THEATRE OF DIONYSUS

This ancient Greek theatre started the flowering of Greek culture, but also served as an architectural model for later Greek theatres. Twice a year religious ceremonies took place here – the Dionysia. During the festivals, comedy and drama competitions were also organised here. The low stage and the auditorium allowed a good view of the whole audience.
